Scoot uses artificial intelligence to enhance the meeting and sales experience. When AI features are active, the following processing may occur:

Real-time audio processing: During meetings where AI features are enabled by the host, your voice and spoken words may be captured, transcribed, and analyzed in real time to provide coaching, suggestions, and insights.

Conversation analysis: AI systems may analyze the content, tone, and patterns of meeting conversations to generate summaries, action items, key topics, and engagement metrics.

Website interactions: When you interact with AI chatbots or agents on our website, your text inputs, browsing behavior, and conversation history may be collected and analyzed.

Content generation: AI may generate summaries, recommendations, follow-up content, and other outputs based on meeting data and your interactions with the Services.

Third-Party AI Providers

Scoot uses third-party artificial intelligence services to power certain AI features within the Services. Your data may be transmitted to and processed by these third-party AI providers solely for the purpose of delivering AI functionality within the Services. We require our AI service providers to maintain appropriate security measures and to use your data only as necessary to provide their services to us. Scoot does not use your data to train general-purpose AI models. We also do not permit our third-party AI service providers to use your data to train their general-purpose AI models.

Meeting Participant Awareness

If you participate in a Scoot meeting or event, please be aware that:

  • The meeting host controls which AI features are active. You may be notified of active AI features through in-meeting indicators or host announcements.
  • If AI features are active, your voice, video, and text communications may be processed by AI systems.
  • AI-generated outputs (such as meeting summaries and insights) may be shared with the meeting host and other authorized users within the host's organization.
  • If you do not consent to AI processing, you should notify the meeting host and may choose to leave the meeting.

AI Data Retention

  • Real-time AI processing data (such as live transcriptions used for in-meeting coaching) is typically processed transiently and not stored after the meeting unless the host has enabled recording or archiving features.
  • Meeting summaries, action items, and other AI-generated outputs may be retained as part of the host's account data.
  • Website chatbot conversation logs are retained for service improvement and may be reviewed to improve AI performance.
  • You may request deletion of your personal information in accordance with the rights described in this Privacy Policy.

Your Rights Regarding AI Processing

  • You have the right to be informed when AI features are processing your data during meetings.
  • You may opt out of AI processing by not participating in meetings where AI features are active, or by requesting that the meeting host disable AI features.
  • For EU residents, AI processing is conducted based on legitimate interests (to provide and improve our Services) and your consent (by participating in meetings with active AI features after notification).

6. Do-Not-Track Disclosure

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" feature. Currently, there is no industry standard for recognizing Do Not Track signals. Scoot does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals, but we provide you with choices regarding the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

7. Children Under 13

Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete such information and terminate the child's account.
