The knowledge layer
behind every live answer.
The Brain is Scoot's customer-owned knowledge layer. It holds your call recordings and transcripts, your documents, and your CRM data, and it is what lets Live Advisor coach a rep on this deal, this product, and this buyer during the call. Your data stays yours, is never used to train AI models, and is exportable at any time.
Talk to CleoSee it in use: how Live Advisor works and why the live call is where ramp is won.
Dynamic context, not static knowledge.
At its core, The Brain is a dynamic context layer. It ingests, organizes, and surfaces the right information at the right moment for any agent that needs it. Think of it as persistent, evolving memory — not a static knowledge base, but a living system that updates in real time as new data flows in from meetings, CRM activity, deal progression, customer interactions, and more.

Traditional RAG
Retrieves from fixed datasets. Agents work from last week's snapshot. Context goes stale. Every query hits the same frozen corpus regardless of what happened yesterday.
The Brain
Continuously incorporates fresh context from live meetings, CRM updates, deal changes, and customer interactions. Agents always operate with the latest picture — not a stale snapshot.
Four kinds of data, lined up for the call.
The Brain ingests the sources a rep would otherwise have to remember or look up mid-call. You connect them once; the Brain keeps them current.
Calls: recordings, transcripts, summaries
Every meeting run on Scoot, and every call run on another platform with the Scoot desktop app, is recorded, transcribed, and summarized into the Brain the moment it ends. What the buyer objected to, who was on the call, and what was promised become searchable and usable on the next call.
CRM data
Deal history, contacts, stage, and the notes your team already keeps. Connect your CRM and the Brain syncs with it, or use the Brain as the system of record. After a call, notes and next steps are written back.
Documents and playbooks
Product documentation, pricing rules, competitive positioning, security answers, and the sales methodology your team runs, including one you wrote yourself. This is where the answer to the technical question lives.
Calendar and activity
Read-only calendar access tells the Brain who is on the next call and when, so the pre-call brief is ready before the rep joins. Email and deal activity add the timeline between calls.
Before, during, and after the call.
Live Advisor is the coaching; the Brain is what it knows. The difference between the two shows up the first time a buyer asks something the rep cannot answer.
Before
A pre-call brief drawn from the Brain: what happened last time, what your team owes them, what to bring up, with sources.
During
Live Advisor listens on the rep's machine, retrieves from the Brain as the conversation moves, and shows the next question, the answer to an objection, or the relevant competitor position in a private panel the buyer cannot see. No bot joins the call.
After
The recording, transcript, and summary land in the Brain. Notes and next steps go to the CRM. The next rep on this account starts from the full record.
Generic real-time prompts
A buyer asks whether your product supports their identity provider. A generic coach can suggest a stalling technique, because it has no idea what your product supports. The rep says “I'll get back to you,” and the moment passes.
Coaching connected to the Brain
The same question, and Live Advisor surfaces the answer from your product documentation and the last call where it came up, while the buyer is still on the line. Training did not cover it. Call analysis would have flagged it tomorrow. The Brain answered it in the call.
What makes The Brain different.
Real-Time Ingestion
Continuously pulls in data from meetings, CRM, email, and customer interactions. Context is always current, never stale.
Contextual Retrieval
Surfaces the right information at the right moment. Agents get exactly the context they need — prospect history, competitive intel, pricing, prior conversations — precisely when it matters. It reads the CRM record alongside the meetings it came from, so the account history and what was actually said answer the same question together.
Shared Memory
Every agent draws from the same dynamic base. Insights captured in a live meeting immediately inform downstream outreach, forecasting, and strategy. Nothing falls through the cracks.
Connect the Brain to Claude or any agent you run.
The Brain speaks MCP. Point Claude, your own framework, or anything else that speaks the protocol at it, and the agent answers from the same memory your in-meeting agents use — your meetings, your CRM, your material — instead of from something generic.
Real-time intelligence, mid-conversation.
Products like Live Advisor depend on The Brain to deliver real-time intelligence during conversations. When a rep is on a call, The Brain feeds the agent contextual knowledge about the prospect, competitive positioning, pricing history, and prior interactions — all surfaced at the exact moment it's relevant.

Prospect Context
Company background, key contacts, recent activity, deal history — delivered to the agent before the rep even says hello.
Competitive Intel
Positioning, pricing comparisons, and win/loss patterns surfaced the moment a competitor is mentioned in conversation.
Conversation History
Every prior interaction — meetings, emails, support tickets — so the agent understands the full story behind the current conversation.
Talk Tracks & Playbooks
Best practices and proven messaging pulled from your top performers, delivered contextually based on where the conversation is heading.
Connected intelligence across your entire pipeline.
Beyond live meetings, The Brain powers the autonomous agents running across your go-to-market workflows — prospecting, follow-ups, deal analysis, and pipeline management. These agents share the same context layer, which means insights captured in a live meeting immediately inform downstream outreach, forecasting, and strategy.
Prospecting & Outbound
Agents use real engagement data and meeting insights to identify and prioritize the right targets with personalized outreach.
Deal Intelligence
Pipeline analysis powered by actual conversation data — not just CRM fields. Every deal scored against patterns from your wins and losses.
Follow-Up & Next Best Action
Post-meeting agents that draft follow-ups, update CRM, and recommend next steps — all informed by what actually happened in the meeting.
Every agent makes every other agent better.
The Brain is what transforms Scoot from a collection of smart features into a connected intelligence platform. Live Advisor captures insights during meetings. GTM agents act on those insights across your pipeline. And every interaction feeds back into The Brain, making the entire system sharper with every conversation your team has.
Who owns the Brain, and what happens to the data.
The short version: the Brain is your asset. Scoot hosts it. Here are the specifics, as stated on our pricing page and in our privacy policy.
Ownership
Your data belongs to you. Storage, data loading, and export are always free, on every plan. Your data never pays to leave.
AI training
Scoot does not use your data to train AI models, and does not permit the third-party AI providers it uses to train on it either.
Retention
Brain memory is unlimited on every plan and never expires. Recording storage is 50 GB on Free, 250 GB per seat on Pro, 1 TB per seat on Team, and unlimited on Enterprise. Nothing is deleted when you reach a limit; you add storage or upgrade. Deletion is available on request.
Live processing
Live transcription used for in-call coaching is processed transiently and is not stored after the meeting unless the host has recording enabled. The meeting host controls which AI features are active.
Security
SOC 2 Type II; the report is available under NDA. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with access controls on AI-processed data. Affected users are notified of a breach within 72 hours of discovery.
Enterprise controls
SSO on Team and above. Custom data residency, a compliance pack, and unlimited storage on Enterprise.
Access from your own tools
The Brain is available to agents you build over API and MCP. Pro seats include 25,000 Brain calls per seat per month; Team seats include 100,000. The Brain Platform for externally built agents starts at $500 a month.
