Carol Carpenter Joins Scoot's Board of Directors

Former CMO of Unity and VMWare, VP of Product Marketing at Google Cloud, and Expert in Enterprise Marketing, Joins Scoot to Accelerate Launch of Sellinars

DALLAS, TX – Scoot, the first and only experiential meeting platform that accelerates sales and unlocks a treasure trove of AI-activated customer insights data, today announced the appointment of Carol Carpenter, former Chief Marketing Officer of Unity, to its Board of Directors. Carpenter brings over 28 years of experience in enterprise software and marketing to Scoot’s Board.

Her understanding of the needs and pain points of CMOs at larger companies is second to none, and her insights into how Scoot can address those needs will be invaluable.”  

Carpenter has a proven track record of success in enterprise software and marketing. As CMO of Unity, she led the company’s positioning as a full platform for real-time 3d development. As CMO of VMware, she helped transform the company to a leading multi-cloud provider. During her tenure at Google Cloud, she built out the solutions go-to-market strategy which enabled the business to scale from $6B to over $12B in a four-year period. Earlier in her career, she was a product marketing manager at Apple.

Carpenter is also a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion. She is a frequent speaker and mentor for women in technology including the HBS Entrepreneurship program and several AAPI programs such as the Monte Jade Science and Technology Association.

In addition to her professional experience, Carpenter is also a highly respected thought leader in the marketing industry. She is a frequent speaker at industry events and has been featured in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Fortune.
